Finals are over.  A's in Microbiology 509, Animal Sciences 320, and Industrial and Systems Engineering 504.  B+'s in Chemical Engineering 508 and 522.  3.78 for the quarter, which is fine with me, considering I barely touched most of my chem eng books and had a whole lot of crap going on with work and all.  I never get straight A's autumn quarter... and I totally blame football season.  The party starts on the weekends and doesn't stop through the week!

Speaking of work, I "quit" my job at OSU.  Actually, I told my boss (the head tech) that my school schedule just isn't going to allow me to work there winter quarter, which is true (they're usually only open 8-4).  So, on a whim, I decided to send my résumé to MedVet again.  Turns out, they were looking for a weekend/evening tech in their internal medicine department.  Less than two weeks later, I'm hired!  Better hours than OSU, more hours than OSU, and a nice raise over what OSU was paying me.  Plus, they hired me as a full-fledged tech, not a "we'll give you the shitty jobs because nobody else will hire you" student assistant.  All I can say is:

Nah, nah, nah nah nah!

Not that I'm leaving ULAR on bad terms.  My other boss (the higher-up boss, the vet) set me up with someone here in Philly at UPenn to shadow over break.  That's Ivy League, kiddos!  So that'll give me something to do besides sitting around the house all day doing nothing and getting chubby.

Oh, yeah, by the way, I'm in Collegeville for the first two weeks of break, not in Columbus.  So don't try to get ahold of me there!  I'm coming back the 26th, though.

That's all for tonight.  Bonne nuit.

Tonight's the big jump into Mirror Lake.  Goose feathers and fish poop, here I come!

(This book rocks.  I splurged and got the gi-normous, illustrated edition.  And it's wonderful.)
